Display BagsBuy display bags now. Display bags have a wide range of uses. For items like greeting cards they extend shelf-life by preventing moisture from penetrating the card and protect the card from the grease on fingerprints or ambient heat. For food items they help keep perishables fresh and hygienically protected, and for other items they are simply a great way to showcase and package your product. Polypropylene is also exceptionally clear allowing your product or design to be displayed clearly with an extra shine. Display bags are normally formed from Cellophane or Polypropylene. The materials give you a different look and feel and have some characteristics that may be important to tie up with the product you are displaying. Polypropylene BagsPolypropylene bags are manufactured with a plastic polymer that is stronger and more rigid than polyethylene which is generally used to manufacture polythene bags also know as poly bags. Polypropylene protects absorbent materials such as card and paper from vapour and moisture because it is itself non-porous. Polypropylene is commonly used in industry and for packing consumer goods because of its versatility. Polypropylene can be used not only as a structural plastic, but also as a fibre and as a packaging material that can even be used for packaging food. Cellophane BagsCellophane bags are made with a thin and transparent sheet made of regenerated cellulose. Its low permeability to air, oils, greases, and bacteria makes it useful for food packaging. In the manufacturing process, an alkaline solution of cellulose fibres (usually wood or cotton) known as viscose is extruded through a narrow slit into an acid bath. The acid regenerates the cellulose, forming a film. Further treatment, such as washing and bleaching, yields Cellophane. Cellophane x Polypropylene- Cellophane is paper-like and is a natural 100% biodegradable material, it is made from organic pulp not from plastic; - Polypropylene is a plastic polymer but it is more eco-friendly to manufacture than cellophane; - Cellophane film is transparent but the film is thin and creases easily; - Polypropylene bags are more rigid and have superb clarity, with a more lustrous shine; Greetings Card BagsPolypropylene card bags are exceptionally clear allowing card designs to display sharply and cleanly with a real shine. Card bags, possibly the most common type of display bag, are available in sizes that range from trading cards and photographs to small posters and art prints. Flower SleevesFlower sleeves are designed to suit a range of flower sizes that goes from a single rose to a large bouquet. Clear polypropylene flower sleeves are packed together in batches for easy shop counter storage and use. |
